Aboriginal Boomerangs and Didgeridoos We have put together a page of Aboriginal artifacts including Didgeridoos, Clap Sticks, Coolamons and Boomerangs, beautifully hand crafted by Aboriginal Woodcarver Kel Williams.
Kel has been carving since he was 10, taught by his paternal grandfather from Thursday Island. His maternal grandmother is of the Guguyimidhirr tribe, the black kangaroo which is painted on many of Kel's artifacts is the symbol from his tribe.
Most of Kel's carvings are not only works of art but also functional. You can certainly blow a tune on the Didgeridoos if you want, we just hope you have big lungs!
All of Kel's artifacts are unique and are hand crafted individually by him therefore the images shown on this page are only a guide, so please be aware that what you receive will vary slightly from the pictured item.
If you need more information please e-mail us and we will be happy to help out........Thanks
